The wonderful Glevum Big Band played up a storm at the last event of the summer season 2025 on 30th August – and the heavens opened! The brave audience mostly stayed for the whole afternoon in spite of torrential rain. Glevum Big Band cleverly played and sang many weather-related numbers with their usual panache and style. They ended with – of course – their terrific rendition of “Singin’ In the Rain”, and several audience members danced in full Gene Kelly mode – soaking wet but still managing to have a great time.
A big thank you to Glevum for a wonderful afternoon, and we hope they will come back again for a concert in the sunshine!
